भुकम्प प्रभावित क्षेत्र बाढी र पहिरोको जोखिममा
रुकुम । रुकुम पश्चिमको आठविसकोट नगरपालिकाले ७५ स्थान बाढी तथा पहिरोको जोखिममा रहेको बताएको छ । गत कात्तिक १७ गते राती गएको भुकम्पका कारण जमिन फाटेको र बनमा आगो लागेको ठाउँ गरि ७५ ठाउँ बाढी तथा पहिरोको उच्च जोखिममा रहेको नगरपालिकाले जनाएको छ ।
“हामिले नगरपालिका भरमा भुकम्प पछि विज्ञ सहितको टोलीसंग बाढी तथा पहिरोको जोखममा रहेका ठाउँमा पहिचान गरेका छौ, भुकम्पका कारण जमिनमा चिरा परेको ठाउँ सबै भन्दा बढि जोमिख मानिएको छ, त्यस्तै बनमा आगो लागेको जमिन पनि कमजोर हुने भएकाले त्यहि बनबाट माटो, ढुङ्गा बगेर बस्तिमा पस्ने गरेको छ”, नगर प्रमुख रवि केसीले भने ।
नगरपालिकाभर १५ सय ५७ घरपरिवार बाढि तथा पहिरोको उच्च जोखिममा रहेको नगर प्रमुख केसीले बताए । “नगरपालिकाको अधिकांस ठाउँको जमिन पहिरोको जोखिममा छ, यो पटक झनै भुकम्पका कारण पनि जमिन कमजोर भएको छ, बर्खा भरि हामिले धेरै क्षती बेहोर्ने देखिन्छ”, केसीले बताए ।
बर्खा लागेसंगै बाडी र पहिरोले सताउन थालेको छ । गत सोमबार मात्रै वडा नम्वर १२ मा आएको बाढीका कारण ३ जना बालिकाको मृत्य भएको थियो भने एक जना भने अझै व्यपत्ता भएका छन् । बाढीकै कारण वडा नं. १२ सँगै ११ र १३ का गरेर जम्मा ९८ घरपरिवार विस्थापित भएको नगरप्रमुख केसीले जानकारी दिए ।
“हामी नागरिकको यसप्रकरको दुःखबाट मर्माहत भएका छौं”, उनले भने ’विस्थापित घरपरिवारलाई तत्काल राहतस्वरूप पालिका र विभिन्न संघ–संस्थामार्फत राहात प्रदान गरेका गरिरहेका छौं ।’ प्रमुख केसीले घरबासविहीन भएकाहरूलाई तत्कालका लागी स्थानीय सामुदायिक भवनमा बस्ने व्यवस्था मिलाएको र अस्थायी बास बनाउनेबारे योजना तयार भइरहेको पनि बताए ।
वडा नम्वर १२ को तातोपानि र झिनचौरखोलामा सोमबार खहरेखोलामा आएको बाढी बनमा आगो लागेको कारण आएको स्थानीयहरुको भनाई छ । “हाम्रो बाजेले भनेको २०२१ सालमा यी खोलाहरुमा बाढी आएको थियो रे, हामिले यी खोलाहरुमा बाढी आएको कहिले नि देखेका थिएनौ”, थलबहादुर बुढामगरले भने ।।
