काभा महिला क्लब च्याम्पियनसिपको उपाधि पुलिसले जित्यो
काठमाडौं । नेपाल पुलिस क्लबले सेन्ट्रल एसियन भलिबल एसोसिएसन (काभा) महिला क्लब च्याम्पियनसिपको उपाधि जितेको छ । अपराजित रहेको पुलिसले माल्दिभ्सको मालेमा शनिबार सम्पन्न फाइनलमा उज्वेकिस्तानको हुमो भलिबल क्लबविरुद्ध ३–० को सोझो सेटमा जित निकाल्दै उपाधि हात पारेको हो। पुलिसले २५–१६, २५–२१, २५–२३ ले नतिजा आफ्नो पक्षमा पार्यो ।
लिग चरणबाट पुलिस शीर्ष र हुमो दोस्रो स्थानमा रहँदै उपाधि नजिक पुगेका थिए । प्रतियोगितामा नेपाल, उज्वेकिस्तान, श्रीलंका, माल्दिभ्स र ताजकिस्तानका ६ टोलीले सहभागिता जनाएका थिए ।
पुलिसले लिग चरणामा हुमो, श्रीलंकाको श्रीलंका एयर फोर्स र ताजकिस्तानको डाइमेड भलिबल क्लबलाई समान ३–० को, माल्दिभ्सको वाम्को क्लबलाई ३–२ तथा माल्लिभ्स पुलिस क्लबलाई ३–१ को सेटमा पराजित गरेको थियो ।
गत चैतमा सम्पन्न आठौं एनभिए महिला भलिबल लिग विजेताको हैसियतामा पुलिसले यस काभा महिला क्लब च्याम्पियनसिपमा सहभागिता जनाउने अवसर पाएको हो ।
पुलिसले प्रतियोगिताका लागि विभागीय प्रतिद्वन्द्वी नेपाल एपिएफ क्लबबाट सरस्वती चौधरी र निरुता ठगुन्ना तथा न्यु डायमन्ड यु स्पोर्टस क्लबबाट सुमित्रा रेग्मीलाई अनुबन्ध गरेको थियो ।
